Andy Rooney

During his appearance at the end of the periodical CBS "60 Minutes" Andy Rooney expressed gratitude for a "chance" of life and thanked his fans, but not without adding a touch of curmudgeonly complaints has become an of television research firm.

"I did a lot of complaining here," Rooney's 92-year-old said, "but all the things I complained, I can not complain about my life."

Payment of Sunday night "a few minutes with Andy Rooney" capped a run of 33 years for the segment end to show where famous Rooney commented on everything from the mundane elements - often shows collections of household goods, wanted or not desired - the company questions.

Melissa Dorga

The first report on The Huffington Post said Gorga was created during an episode of RHONJ where his former boss as "the strip club, she used to work on" randomly popped up on a fashion show, causing Gorga to hide so as not to expose his past. Gorga, however, said the report is false, says on his blog:

As everyone knows we are filming Season 4 not so I can confirm too, but one thing I want to know ... a charge that was once a strip club dancer. This is 100% not true. I did bartend a few weeks, the bar I was in high school bikinis. My dress was a tank top, shorts and sneakers. Sorry, there Bubbies.

She keeps saying that people have "a better opportunity to see the nakedness of the episode on Sunday."

Lookers His former boss, Larry Guarino, Gorga supports up, tells us: "He was a bartender and a couple of months, years ago, had so little time ... Lookers was really a luxury, even then, was not as if it were bartending in some hole in the wall. "

Gorga then continues to point the finger at Giudice Teresa, whose original report said tried to intervene during the fashion show where the event occurred. Melissa, who has had very public problems with Giudice on the show, saying "someone desperately wants to beat me down and prove that I have nothing to hide, but then trying to cover it by putting the blame on the production. "

Although Teresa has been the mother of a reaction to the drama on Twitter, Gorga is castmate Jacqueline Laurita was not easy to take time for a massive blow-up. He said this week: "I can not be part of the concern anymore. It Charade 's and' annoying, and it is against what I am because I am REAL housewife ..." Later, when the emotions settled down, calmed down and wrote: "I'm pulling back.I impulsive. It there.I source behind and below me.Too Unimportant. My life is good now."

Pueblo Co

In a letter to the Pueblo County Clerk and Recorder Gilbert Ortiz Friday night, the Secretary of State Scott Gessler cleric warned that if Ortiz posted bulletins inactive voters, would be named in a lawsuit.
Gessler, a Republican, argues that the law does not allow voters to inactive e-newsletter for the election of November 1.

A complaint has been filed against the Denver Clerk and Recorder Debra Johnson, who has sent ballots to voters inactive military and abroad.
"Inactive" voters have not voted in the 2010 election, not vote in an election later and did not return the postcard sent to ask if they want a vote.

Friday afternoon, Ortiz announced that "reluctantly" to comply with the order of votes Gessler placed 64 active military voters, but said the dispute over whether voters should have an active e-mail card was not finished, the Pueblo Chieftain reported.
The letter was sent Ortiz on Friday evening, Gessler, warned that if Ortiz will be sent ballots to voters inactive, would be named Johnson, prosecution, and should appear at the hearing on October 7.
"Based on media reports, the Pueblo County can still consider sending mail ballots to inactive - have not been able to vote to voters ...", the letter said:" Please note that. If the Pueblo County vote sends a message to inactive - that was not to vote ... the voters, the secretary to ask the judge to the Denver District Court Whitney to join the Pueblo County as a necessary party to the dispute between the Department of State and Debra Johnson. "

64 Colorado counties, 60 contain all-mail voting in elections. Only Denver and Pueblo, announced plans to send cards to voters inactive.

Homeland

"Homeland" can not win an Emmy, but it is a little better than most of his debut this fall on free TV. It becomes a habit for Showtime, which continues to close the gap with subscribers high-quality HBO shows.

Howard Gordon was co-creator of "24" and he saw through eight seasons finally tried the patience of the most ardent fan. (How many constitutional crises and the presidents of emergency, even a false U.S. address?)

When he was good, good, "24" was very good, and dialogue about the war on terrorism have been better than anything you can hear the Sunday yak shows.

"We were also involved in the discussion of torture in there," Gordon told TV critics fall previews' in LA "We got a right painted with the brush, but in reality, our staff was completely divided ideological lines, and we tried to take account of this history. "

Gordon promises to "Homeland", despite riding a "24" territory, will be different -. Very different Brody Nicolas, played by the new Patriot Lewis will be the opposite of "24" Jack Bauer. And the country's fate will not be in balance at the end of each episode.

"We mostly deal with the human drama of a hero returning, and the CIA agent who suspects him, had been shot," Gordon said.

This seems to confirm the suspicion in flashback dream of the first episode where Brody shows a mouse the other prisoners in exchange for clemency.

I hope that the attack proves to be a red herring. It would be disappointing if the show Gordon and other factors, championship, Alex (the second alum "24"), and Gideon Raff, a robot made of The Manchurian Candidate, Lewis, Brit was too little leadership position in the U.S. (NBC's "Life").

On the other hand, Carrie Mathison, they Spook played by the Danes, a fully developed character. It could be a reason to keep tuning in. Mathison is obviously dedicated to keeping our country safe, but it's hard when you are so insecure it is. Pills and Mr. Goodbar asylum, she is a warrior who will do everything to promote its cause and / or career, including a classic playbook output Cleopatra - to snuggle her older male superiors (played by Patinkin) .

For me at least, the program runs on two things: the relationship between Brody and Mathison, moving forward in a brief but thrilling encounter in the controller, and how Brody is in the media of the new fiction which is charged with the task of leading the heroic narrative Mathison supposedly want to undo.

The representations of the media in TV series are very poor, which always intrigues me - it's not like you have to hunt around for good source material. It is always the 24 / 7, and is always the same.

Ddelonte West

Closed from its primary task of the NBA players, the West has studied the positions in Home Depot and Sam's Club (at the Department of knives) while working on an album of rap. Now she landed gigs Regency Furniture Showrooms, Washington, DC, Maryland and Virginia chain, in order to "stay afloat during the block." West, who is a world free agent basketball Twitter tirelessly on his first day in his new job and shared images (which you'll see when it calms down a Twitter account). He also shared the image of his job application, which is the explanation that he had been convicted of a crime, because "a misunderstanding".
Daniel King, Sales Manager Brandywine shop, a reliable source has confirmed that the West is at work. Or was it Thursday.

West, a graduate from Greenbelt Eleanor Roosevelt High School is a familiar face around the store. "Sometimes you stop just to say hello," King said. "It can make some extra money, and it would make money for us."

There was confusion at first about the West should work. Sales of furniture seems to be a better thing for him to lift it, but when checked with a reliable source the regency, he was in the warehouse.
In fact, Western Twitter a picture of him with a shirt and Regency Chillin ', uh, to meet new colleagues in the store and the "fun in my new job." In general, seemed happy with a day's work in the real world, saying, Regency is a "cool place to be."

Delonte Who knows how long, though? In August, he was very enthusiastic to sell knives.
"In fact, I have worked with Sam [Club], BJ who sell knives," said Adam Reisinger Hoop True West. "It's pretty cool too. I get a microphone and everything. "
