The skinny: Stafford has missed more games (19) than it began (13) in two NFL seasons. In the small sample sizes starting from Stafford, although we have seen show a lot of potential. With a blue-chip receiver range (Calvin Johnson (notes)) and a very good tight end (Brandon Pettigrew (notes)) at its disposal to Stafford as one of the breakout players in the league at his position. Of course, it all comes down to whether he avoids injury.
